Sponsor a Pastor
Most of our evangelism and church
planting work is being done in remote areas, where people have not heard the
Gospel. Even though our evangelists reach thousands of people per month, the
response in different areas varies. Sometimes so many come to Christ that we
must scramble to get pastors to move into the new area to do the follow up
work. At other times, it takes years to see a few people coming to know the
Lord, and to plant a small church like the one shown above. Yet, this is our
calling and vision, to go to places where people are open and also those
areas where hearts are hardened, and to share the precious news of the Gospel
wherever the Lord sends. Whenever an evangelist gets enough response, we send
a pastor or assistant pastor into the area. We can send out a pastor for $200
dollars a month, and an assistant pastor for $100.
Sponsoring
a pastor has just become easier, because it can now be done online through an
organization called Canada Helps. They take 3% as their administration fee,
and send the rest of your donation to us.
